2026 General Election Ballot Drop Box Locations
Your ballot must be received by the County Clerk by 6:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
No postage is needed to return your completed ballot in a drop box. Sign and seal both envelopes before you return your ballot.

Ballot Drop Boxes at Jefferson County Clerk Motor Vehicles Licensing Branches
Ballot drop boxes will also be available at all Jefferson County Clerk Motor Vehicle Licensing Branches on weekdays, September 21 – November 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., plus the extended hours shown below.
These drop boxes are only accessible while the branch is open. On Election Day, branches close at 4:30 p.m. The Election Center drop box at 1000 E. Liberty St., Louisville, KY 40204, will remain open until 6:00 p.m. on Election Day.
